Project 2

I would say my primary medium in digital arts is live action film. I really enjoy the hands on aspect of shooting footage then proceeding into the editing side of things. It gives me the best of both worlds. I've had many sculpture classes throughout my college career including metal casting and glass blowing. I'm a very hands on person and being able to go out and shoot footage is a great way to change things up for me. I also really enjoy working with photoshop. Manipulating photos and digital painting is very fun for me. I try and touch on themes that make the observer think about certain aspects of society, or the personal trials an individual goes through throughout their lives. Some of my work also has a lighthearted side dealing with less serious content. The most distinctive thing about my work is that I usually stay on the borderline between whimsical fantasy and concrete reality, and a lot of my pieces would be considered a bit dark and aggressive, though I don't necessarily go out of my way to make them that way.
